We are not found enough with the word "SFC", well SFC stands for system File checker. It checks files on your PC, whether they are well executed or not.

Cmd.exe is a executable name of Command prompt.
cmd.exe is a microsoft command line interpreter.
*Note:- This SFC scan works only on Windows PC.
Step 1:- Search for "command prompt" exe.file on your PC , and when you find it dont just click it, you need to hold ctrl+shift+enter or Right click on it and choose Run as Administrator.
You will be directed to cmd.exe, you will be seeing a window, somehow like this
Step 2:- After accessing yourself into cmd.exe , highlight ur looks to a line
c:\windows\system32>
Step 3:- Type "sfc/scannow" just after "c:\windows\system32>" and press Enter, you will be directed for a scan now.
